Cruis'in

Leaving Miami for...
the Eastern Caribbean!
 Parasailing...
 at Half Moon Cay
What a great view from way up there!
Swam, snorkeled, parasailed, floated, and ate barbecue at Half Moon Cay.
St. Thomas was breathtakingly beautiful!
Ready to start our adventures for the day...
First, we went on a snorkeling excursion.
We saw lots of colorful fish, sting rays, and ten turtles!
Dustin, of course, had to take a picture of the barracuda!
Then we had a few hours to explore some of the shops.
We didn't want to get back on the boat...we wanted to stay longer in St.Thomas!
Next stop, San Juan, Puerto Rico
There was a beautiful cementery with so many statues!
The foliage was gorgeous in San Juan and reminded me of New Orleans.
Look at this tree!  We did lots of walking and a little shopping.
No shortage of pigeons in San Juan!
Old San Juan had a couple forts and a large stone wall surrounding the city.
In Grand Turk we went on an excursion to Gibbs Cay.
Here is Princess, a fairly domesticated female sting ray.
We feed her fish, no teeth, just suction.
Dustin's one on one time with Princess.
When the guide said, Give him a kiss, Princess would pucker her lips up!
Then we got a sting ray massage.
By the look on his face, I think Dustin had a good time!
I was a little more apprehensive, but I did kiss Princess,
and get my sting ray massage.  She was surprisingly soft.
The guides swam around looking for a Conch shell, opened it up, and showed us the inside, very interesting.  He cut it down to the part you actually eat and we had Conch salad.  It was very delicious!
There's our ship, Carnival Glory, on the right...it was huge!
Leaving Grand Turk...we didn't want to leave here either!
At night in the dining room, we had the best couple that was assigned to the same table with us.  We had great conversations, and lots of laughs, and amazing food!  Other highlights I don't want to forget:  George our Cruise Director (twenty years working on this Carnival ship and that was his last week) and the comedians...all hilarious.  The juggler who put on the best night show.  Perfect weather.  Saw dolphins and some crazy fish that look like lizards in Grand Turk.  Timmy's great acoustic music.  Darin's doppelganger.  And, last is best, spending one on one time with my best friend, Dustin!  A big thank you to Joy and Kal for making this possible by watching our kids!  Ocean water runs in my veins so give me beach and watch pure bliss!
